Ed wrote and dedicated this song to his friend and mentor Micheal Gundinski who unexpectedly died in March, a legendary Australian record label founder and music producer, Ed always said he was like a father figure to him. He performed at Michael's state funeral in Melbourne and afterward wrote this song. A beautiful song and tribute to his friend.

I just lost my sister 2 weeks ago, I miss her so much it hurts. She passed on the same day our father died 3 years ago, even the same hospital. I truly believe my father was there to meet her on the other side.

My daughter passed 8 months ago and we chose this at the service to celebrate her life. Her 10 year old son chose it as she was a huge Ed fan, as we all are. Whenever I hear it I will always cry as I remember her, and think of how she would want me to raise her amazing son. Xxx

Literally one sentence but it packs so much emotion and expresses such a universal sentiment. What a brilliant songwriter.
