Mountainsmith Tour Lumbar Pack. Out of the box review!

Not long ago I told you about this totally tubular piece of outdoor equipment that I use constantly on my day hikes. This piece of equipment was totally RAD in the 80’s, and now it is FIRE in 2023! It seems like just yesterday I took you back in time and introduced you to one of the most fashionable and useful trends of the 80’s - the fanny pack! Unfortunately, the coolness related to the fanny pack did not survive, and it is no longer trending. Well, I am here to change that! It is my feeling that once the world moves past the stigma of the fanny pack, and concentrates on what purpose it serves, it will most certainly catch fire and be the next “Thing.” Plus, they don’t call them fanny packs anymore - they have been rebranded. Now they are called lumbar packs, hip packs, hip bags, Glide belts, dump pouch, waist packs, and the Army calls them butt packs.

The one I am going to feature today is one that I just purchased: the Mountainsmith Tour Lumbarpack. I was looking to upsize from my older one so I could carry more stuff. In this episode I will show the UNBOXING. You will get to see my initial impressions, I will show you how to wear it, and I will look at what all you can pack in one.
