Many people commenting here seem to forget that the reason House of the Dragon was made is to show the actual truth of what happened during this civil war. Martin himself said that what happened in the books is the result of the victors' storytelling, which erased and fabricated many original stories to support the winner, in this case, Aegon II, written by maesters favoring the Greens. The book mentions that Sunfyre wounded Meleys, but in reality, in the TV show, Sunfyre only managed to break one of Meleys' horns while Meleys crippled Sunfyre. This is one of the proofs that what actually happened is like this. What happened in the book was just to glorify Aegon II's bravery. I'm sure that the end of the series will also be very different from what is in the books.

King Joffrey was walking through the Sept with Margarey Tyrell. He was showing her where certain events took place, and when Cersi Lannister started getting annoyed, she said “ it’s OK it’s like taking a walk-through history”. part of what Joffrey said was how Rhaenyra was eaten by dragons and her bones are buried under there

Despite her being killed, her armies are looking for a fight, the Lannisters are pretty much occupied with Dalton Greyjoy, the river lords smashed the last remaining army of Aegon II in the King's road, the Stormland and the Hightower armies are pretty exhausted and can't afford to send more soldiers.

Loved Milly as Rhaenyra, said little but showed tons of steel and courage. Absolutely captivating. Emma took over in episode 6 and does an ok job but seems fearful, weak, hesitant and cowardly. Always justifying her actions with caution ⛔️. Rhaenyra died for me in episode 6.

You forgot to mention that she laughed and made fun of Aegon and Sunfyre, who was often considered as the most beautiful dragon to ever exist. This made Aegon go berserk and he fed Rhaenyra to the dragon. 🎉

And it’s such a surprise because after Rooks rest Aegon and sunfyre go missing for the rest of the War. She thought she was coming back to Dragonstone as refuge. Only to find Her court hanging, having been devoured from waist down.

I don't like how in the book Aegon III tried to please the Greens by labeling his mother as a traitor after the civil war ended. He should have shown his courage by executing those collaborators. I'm not watching any more of this series if they don't bring justice to the characters I adore.

I mean, Aegon dies shortly after and Aegon the III ends up sitting the throne either way.

QUEEN rhaenyra* acknowledged or not she was QUEEN, she sat the throne and ruled for half a year. She was usurped for being a woman but she was still THE RIGHTFUL Queen and ruled. Fuck the histories and who is remembered as king. Rhaenyra was QUEEN

And then Aegon 2 was poisoned by some of his council members and died . Young Aegon 3 ascend the throne and lord cregan stark helped him as hand to protect the kingdom .
