Wholemeal pasta is also much higher in protein! I love putting lentils in pasta and also put chopped walnuts for good fats and that 'meaty' texture'. Going to make this tonight. Thank you

Loved this! Thanks for the tips in the comments, I didn't have walnuts but added pecans which gave it a bit of a crunch

Cheaper and simpler alternative to jackfood and lentil is vegan (soy) mince. More accessible and consider timing the pasta to the last two minutes of the Ragu. Add pasta ( with clinging water) to the dish and allow it to absorb the flavors. .

The word "meaty" puts me off, as does products called Vegan "sausages"....yuk ! I try to get away from the thought of meat 😬 I will, however, try this because your recipes are always tops in my book ! A very Happy New Year to you all over there at the Happy Pear (& families) 🤞🤞🤞
