Sometimes you may want the editable text to work in photoshop so this method will show you how to export and import from Illustrator files into photoshop.

Not sure who might need this, but if there's a stroke on your text in Illustrator, there's a chance it might not translate into an editable text layer in Photoshop (the text may appear as a flattened layer, insetad of a text layer)!
I just spent an entire day trying to troubleshoot and realized the stroke was causing a problem ugh

How do I save multiple copies of an illustrator file that’s editable?
For example I create a label that going to have the same information and layout. All I need to change for all my SKUs is color and a few text.

My “export as” looks nothing like this. I don’t get a drop down to choose PSD. Only PNG, GIF or SVG. Any ideas?

you need to go to layers panel and the three lines at top right corner choose release layes sequence. THEN SAVE other wise it does not export all layers individualy
