I've been a console player for YEARS. I'm 25, been console playing since I was like 4, I bought a PC off Digital Storm mid to late 2018, spent 2019 making that system my own with upgrades and a different case and stuff and selling the original components, anyways my point is over the last 5 or so months I've been playing my PC much more than my consoles. I'd say make the switch. BUT it's each person's choice, it's just I have preferred PC lately since I don't have to pay to play online, games are actually sometimes much cheaper than console, upgrade over time when you have money for something, choices of resolution, mods, controller choice if wanted. Really PC to me is amazing and I'm surprised I never got into it sooner.

I would say, choose the platform where all your friends are, my friends are on PC and PS so I am on both platforms

No one ever talked about the other benefits of owning a computer... Like being able to edit photos and videos. Etc. Etc.

Just bought a gaming pc for my wife...i7 9700k, 2080 super...I haven't touched my Xbox 1x since.144hz i pure bliss, It was overkill for the sims4, lol.

I built my own pc Dec 2019.
Ryzen 3600, rtx 2060, 16gb 3200mhz, 1tb SSD, all peripherals, desk and chair for under £900 cheaper than an Xbox series X and a 4k TV.
Currently gaming at over 100fps and 1080p

Side note, I’d definitely recommend getting a mic for improved audio. New place is very ‘echo-y’ (if that’s word, which I don’t think it is haha!). If you’re already planning this or still haven’t finished the move, then just tell me to shut it! All the best.

I used my ps4 slim for almost four years by now, and i decided to buy i gaming pc few weeks ago.After using ps4 for that long i have noticed some cons of console.First of all i was playing gta 5 online (besides other games) wich was running on 30 fps.Every other game was also running around 40-50 fps.Also i forgot to mention that you have to pay online for lets say good games, and on pc you dont have to.Thats why i bought pc, and now im playing gta5 on 150 fps and warzone on 180.So my recommendation is to buy pc.

I mean, if you don’t mind paying for online, rebuying all your games, not being able to change your graphics settings, not being able to upgrade your system, and only being able to get games via discs/ one specific only game store then go ahead and get the new console!
