Some very good info in this video about these devices - will definitely refer back to it.

Atm I myself am not too worried about storage for my YouTube videos as (unlike my DAW projects) once I've rendered then compressed the file and am happy with it, I've had no need to keep the project, its components or the uncompressed file. Typically I've been able to reduce tens of Gb's into less than 1Gig and have plenty of space on an external Samsung T7 for ages... but of course that's just me doing YouTube vids.

These devices would definitely come in useful should I need to keep a plethora of much larger files... I'd have to see how prices compare if / when that happens.
