We don’t post just our lifestyle on Instagram or succeed to look good to other people. A Capitalist doesn’t have to win at the expense of others; no, a Capitalist works with others to create new opportunities that didn’t exist before, and the byproduct is profit. That’s why we embrace being part of the One Percent, because we are willing to outwork and outserve the other 99.

We know that if you want to change the world, we must first change ourselves. It doesn’t happen overnight; it starts by serving others and doing the work day after day after day. If you want to create change, it starts with you. So while the world debates, we create. We take responsibility. We solve problems. We build businesses. We create opportunity. And we proudly produce profit.

They can judge us, debate us, even blame us and try to tax us, but without us, there would be no change. We are Capitalists, and we create change.

#5 in EXACTLY something I was just thinking about. I've felt blocked with a certain project for months now. I knew there was something I could do to make me more money but I had ZERO motivation to do it and was just beating myself up about it. Last night I was doing the dishes and realized I was trying to ignore what my gut was telling me, which is that this path was something I'd have to grind out and wouldn't even be worth it in the end.

Thanks for the great video!

Love the TRUTH speak! I've invested thousands of $ in personal development and getting into the "right circles". Left me feeling unworthy and uninspired. Most lessons need to be learned the hard way to become engrained! Thanks Ryan!

I agree with the 5th point. Paralysis by analysis. I think this is the point that helped me the most. I feel like we learned everything from the same people because all these points are what I learned in my 20's and am now coming around to your answers/thoughts. Great video!

Ryan, I think you really nailed it at the end when you said most people won't listen and will have to find out the hard way. However I don't happen to think this is a problem. It's just how we all work. Real knowledge is first hand experience... it's physically going through the motions and learning along the way, for better or worse. I've had experiences where I was reckless and almost died, got in some trouble, lost money, failed relationships, failed businesses, etc. Now I'm 42, have a family, and mellowed out, and I have all these rich experiences behind me that I'm too mature to go back and relive. I understand the world in a deeper way. My business is doing very well and I'm comfortable with myself, and it really seems like things are catapulting upwards at warp speed. Your thoughts are so well laid out here, that even if someone doesn't listen now, they will probably resonate at some level until they are allowed to seep in when it's time. As usual, first class content here.

The comment about 3 years to hit pay dirt landed as well as the decisions on emotions. Ryan’s books and trainings are a masterclass for an entrepreneur and I highly recommend!! Thanks Ryan

Thank you for your fun and educating videos!! It has really been a mindset shift to think about the person that you want to serve instead of selling products. I would love to learn deeper about that😁

really enjoyed this one! I feel like a couple points were almost opposite of what most entrepreneurial books say, such as think rationally as opposed to emotionally. I did like how you explained your reasoning and gave examples. It a different perspective and a nice way to look at things!

Quality content. If there is one thing I could share with you to help you broaden your message reach is to take a page from Gary V’s playbook and don’t assume your audience is only 20-30 yr olds. Some of us are coming to entrepreneurship on a different path, later in life. I get that this video is about your experience and your journey, totally cool. But I venture to guess there is a subset of your audience endeavoring to shed a 9-5 in there 40’s even 50’s. You can speak directly to that audience too. Food for thought. Appreciate you.

22Y old here. I think all your lessons are invaluable when followed through. The last one though about making decisions with your brain vs your emotion - I'm not so sure about it and I'd like to know what you think about this.

If you can recount all of the decisions that you have made with your brain (successful and unsuccessful) and all the ones you've made with your heart, and say you swapped how you made them do you think you would be better off today then you actually are?

For example, the successful decisions you've made with your brain, you would now actually use your heart's choice, do you think you would be better off? I think the fact you used your brain and made the overall rational decisions has made you into the success you are and its quite possible if you had followed only your hearts decisions you'd be in a much different path in life. But then again I'm just a 22 year old, so who knows if in 10 years I come back and say exactly what you are saying :P.
