I stripped the lower nut hammering as shown in this video. Any suggestions? Thx!

Thanks for the great tutorial! Like many others, had to sawzall 3/4 bolts but overall a 3h job even with the rust. All the clunks are gone!!

Snug up the nuts but do not do the final tightening until the suspension is loaded with the vehicle’s weight

I recently bought 2 sway bar links from you folks and after installation I drove it, it started making a clunking noise. Never did prior and I only replaced it bc the car turned into a turn too much.

Thanks. After cutting my finger & 3 stitches later I cut the rusted links & installed the new one. $29.74 sale at Canadian Tire.

Some videos say 5mm allen socket and I seen others say 6mm....which is it. I don't have either and need to know the right size before I Amazon it 👍

Great video. What is the torque on the upper and lower mount bolts?

Lucky south, a shitty situation is on cars of a north where salt gives birth to rust.

Wow that was easy! Good instructions, no wasted energy or words.

Is it just as easy to do this on an ‘06 Honda Ridgeline?

4:35 this is the sound of satisfaction, never gets old.. has a similar feel to hitting a nuke right off a bat barrel’s sweet spot!

I did this on my 2011 Acura RDX (front) last summer, what a pain putting that sway bar link back. It was the worst.

Thanks for the video! Just did this on a 2011 Odyssey. PB Blaster is a must, and if you live in a snow state, your bolts may not be as cooperative. When I got near the end of loosening, I needed to use vice-grips to keep the shaft from spinning because I ended up stripping the hex-key hole. One of the shafts needed a hacksaw. Wear safety glasses and look out for the ABS wire that's pretty close to the link. Finally, if you pre-load your suspension by jacking up the lower control arm by an inch or so, everything lines up nicely. No alignment needed after replacing these (you're not changing the suspension geometry). First one took me three hours, the second one took less than one.

If you live in Ohio...dont bother with the allen key...its not gonna work. Sturdy pair of vise grips does the trick and for the driver side bottom I end up using a cutting wheel, it helps if you cut it off close to the joint and then cut the joint off, then grind it down in sections until there is no more. Passenger side was a breeze. Driver side took about 40 minutes.
