Most Powerful MCU Characters Ranked

Whether you’re a hero or a villain in the MCU, it seems like everyone wants more power for different reasons. If you’re a villain, you seek power to either destroy your enemies, wipe out the universe and remake it in your own image, or just feed your ego. If you’re a hero, you generally seek power in order to fix problems or save the day. At least, that’s how it should be. WIth everyone usually after some version of power, the question becomes, just who is the most powerful character in the MCU? That’s a tricky one to answer, especially since power is such a relative term. Is the most powerful character the one who can punch things the hardest? Or is it the one who can think his way out of any problem? Now that’s a tough dilemma.

Today’s video is all about the most powerful characters in the MCU and I’ll attempt to rank them from least powerful to most powerful. Now, I understand a list like this is subjective and there’s a lot of entries and placement you’ll probably agree with, and some you’ll disagree with. That’s the way it always goes right? Like I think Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful beings in the entire universe, but is she better at magic than Doctor Strange? I think Ant-Man actually is underrated in terms of power, but will you agree with where I placed him? Although Vision should be near the top of the list, his showings in the MCU have been a bit lackluster and that’s hurt him in the standings don’t you think? All of this will be discussed in the video today!

Also, why does everyone forget about Hela? Thor post Ragnarok (and probably even with Stormbreaker in IW) could not beat her. I think she could have annihilated Thanos without any stones, and it would be a spectacle to watch Hela vs. Thanos with 5 or 6 Infinity Stones. And for that matter, Surtur+Eternal Flame has to be up at the Celestial level

Correction: Dr Strange WAS the sorcerer supreme. Because of Thanos, Wong is the sorcerer supreme now

You can't put Ant-Man that high based purely on potential and put the Eternals that low because they haven't showcased enough. The Eternals' powers is literally an extension of the Celestials. There's no greater potential than that lol and if we're going with potential, then Mantis deserves to be on this list, but near the bottom. She held off Ego and Thanos. If she masters her skills, she could be a formidable force in the MCU. Also, Ultron top of list but Vision, who easily erased Ultron, is lower. 🤔 Top 3 heroes (imo) are Wanda, Strange and Danvers.

The most heartbreaking thing currently running down in the MCU is watching the current version of Hulk who everytime gets nerfed.

While i do agree for the most part. I think the dr.strange should be higher than hulk and ultron.

I know Spider-Man wouldn’t be able to beat the eternals or vision, but I do know that he is one of the stronger hero’s. The fact the Spider-Man is “supposedly” holding back all of his punches nerfs him already. I imagine as Spider-Man comes out with more movies we could see him develops as a character and become stronger within himself

Marvel Studios just confirmed this week, that Wanda is the most powerful avenger so it seems right she is in the top 3 below Dormamu and Celestials

The Hulk is my favorite Marvel character, but the way this MCU version was portrayed make him seem a little too high on this list. The savage version of the Hulk definitely seems more powerful than the smart Hulk. The first Avengers movie gave me the impression that The Hulk was the most powerful even over Thor, but after that there were 3 times that started showing a drop off of Hulk’s superiority. First when he got knocked out by the Hulkbuster armor, but it could be argued that he was calming down from shaking off the mind control thing and it was a sucker punch. The second was his fight with awakened Thor were it looked like Thor’s lightning punch rocked him, but he did stand up to continue fighting before interference of the Grandmaster. Third was his awful showing against Thanos, which unfortunately was just used to show how powerful Thanos was. So he had one situational defeat, one inconclusive fight but seemed to be loosing, and one just absolute beat down just to establish another characters power level. If written like in the comics then yeah this ranking would seem okay but the MCU Hulk has been down played over time.
