I pick one of these up recently for my nephew as a step into the Mac operating system, i popped in an SSD and added some Ram and it works a treat. For the age there is nothing windows based that old that could offer the same performance.

This MacBook is like my Dell PC in almost every way. My differences are 14GB RAM, and an NVidia GEforce 210.

Man I use GeForce Now on my 2019 Macbook Pro 13inch with my PS4 controller and it runs freaking incredible. It took 3 weeks to get the access code but ever since, gaming on my MBP has been absolutely amazing. As long as you have a good internet connection lol

Part 2 will consist of upgrading ram, hdd for ssd, maybe install windows and possibly replace the internal fan. Not sure what else you could do to it lol. I have a 2009 MB Pro that's still hanging on.

Im using one right now, in similar condition. You played minecraft for like a minute... give it 10 and watch the computer heat up! SMC fan control is essential for these computers.
