Great video! I enjoyed listening to it. I would encourage you to use the same careful and precise approach to examining the claims made by the teachers of PSA. Based on your past videos with regard to “atonement” which I also commented on, I think, like the Calvinist, you are imposing certain extra biblical definitions and ideas on some of the words and concepts seen in the scriptures and still have to undo years of preprogramming regarding that too. I’ve been there too and had to work really hard to untangle myself from so many false presuppositions I had so please don’t hear me writing this as if I am on some pedestal above you.

For example, the English word atonement has been used by translators in reference to:

1. Hebrew and Greek words that basically refer to the act of purging seen throughout the OT and 3 places in the NT

2. a Greek word that means reconciliation originally used by Tyndale in 2 Corinthians 5:18

3. a Greek word that refers to the mercy seat (the place we meet with God and receive instruction and/or mercy)

Add in the fact that this English word has evolved to mean “reparation for a wrong or an injury” largely because of the influence of PSA and you have a mess to untangle when trying to understand this word as it is used in the scriptures

1:14:48 I am curious why you think we are born children of wrath? Was Jesus born a child of wrath? If you think we are, it seems to me you must think Jesus was too based on Hebrews 2:14 and Hebrews 2:16. It also seems to me Romans 7:9 refutes the idea we are born children of wrath
