This topic gets slept on. Charging cords, cigarette lighter chargers, wall charges, and rechargeable power packs are necessary items for daily use or travel. Power for things is easily taken for granted until our phone, light, and radio dies.

i think if u going in a raid just fill like ur flashlight with full batteries and go but, if u go on a long recon mission or someth bring batteries

i change all the batteries in my lights and optics once a year, and i recharge and stash the old batteries as emergency batteries. I also always have atleast 5 spare per item.

Little 1.5amp solar trickle charger for a battery hooked right to the two prongs of an outlet battery charger is more than enough to top these off.

When a shtf scenario happens you want those extra batteries because they may be scarce

I've tried to have as many things use the same batteries as I can. That way I can hopefully carry one regular charger and one solar charger.

Speaking of back up batteries, my brother and I have invented something simple for storing an extra red dot battery on a Glock style gen 4/5 9mm/40 pistol. T.Rex, if you want to T&E this, let me know.

I urge everyone to charge 18350s and 18650s at half an amp. It takes 4+ hours to charge 2 batteries but you will get several years out of a battery even with hard daily use.

How about a portable light weight solar panel and generators and long term power batteries that can be charged by both or either?
