It’s interesting how in both animatics of Thunder Bringer I’ve seen, once Odysseus makes his choice, the Ithacan crew is so incensed by Odysseus refusing to die for them they resolve to attempting to take him with them, only for Zeus’ attack to save him.

I LOVE THIS SCENE IN PARTICULAR SO MUCH… the implication that ody didn’t say a word but made his decision, and the crew’s attempts to stop him, and zeus just toying with their lives. Anni flamma did such a good job visualizing it

This whole animatic is exquisite, and the song along with it. Zeus flying, getting his bolt ready while still mocking Odysseus for his pride, the look of dispair and defeat on Ody's face as his crew and Eurylocus rushes forward, as if hes thinking "should i be so lucky that it be I who dies here". I love it all, and love all the effort you and the animators are putting into this musical!
