'No Longer You' FULL ANIMATIC || EPIC the Musical

The full song dropped 3 days ago and I immediately started work on the continuation of the preview I had posted back then. I know I stated that the full animatic won't be released until May 2024, but I worked hard to get this out into the world ASAP, and now I have! I really hope you enjoy this :) I pushed the envelope a little more here by using After Effects especially towards the final sequence.

Ladies and gentlemen, In about half and hour the entire underworld saga will be visual In less than 5 days from it's release because the underworld and monster already have full animatics out, the animators of this fandom are truly wonderful

I love how TIresias it's being so straightforward but Ody isnt getting the hint so Tiresias sings about Penelope to make Odyseus shut up and pay attention and then sings louder to make his point clear. It's just beutiful

I love how we can see visually the two Odysseus’s based on color alone

Our Odysseus rn is in blue meanwhile the Odysseus after Monster is taken over by red. It’s a cool way to represent that they are different people just on color alone

There is something so funny about the Prophet speaking in metaphores and meanwhile Oddysseus takes it all literally like a champ, the "WHO" became significally funnier once I catched that.

Suddenly, the prophet, Tiresias’s voice became quieter and eerie as his eyes grew ever so slightly brighter. Even the screams of the dead seemed to calm down a bit. The air felt warmer somehow as if the prophet’s visions were having effects on the reality around him.

He spoke in an ominous voice, “I see you wife with a man who is haunting…”

Odysseus’s eyes widened at the mention of his wife, and he grew worried. He waited for Tiresias to finish his sentence.
“…a man with a trail… of bodies.”



Odysseus asked calmly.

The depictions of what Tiresias is saying as he tells Ody what he sees is exactly what I think of when he sings about his visions. And the Ody's anger when hear's about the man his wife is with is so perfect

Fun fact: red is a very important color in Greek culture. It symbolizes a change from one life stage to another. For example, the dead wore red shrouds. Older Odysseus wearing a red cloak foreshadows the major shift in his way of thinking that we get by the end of Act 1.

Favorite personal headcannon is that the prophet has a bit of maliciousness to him. The first time he sings the prophecy it sounds like he’s just stating what he sees. But the second time after talking about his wife, it sounds like he’s starting to enjoy it. Almost like he is toying with him
