Good vid but I notice you don’t talk about flattening bits. What size would you recommend? Also, you mention bits with 1/2” shanks but the Makita router only takes 1/4” shanks or am I wrong about that? Or is there some sort of adaptor? Thanks for all the CNC help. Mark

Thanks for the video, do you have a link for the 1/8 collett? I will be getting the Makita and want to make sure I can use the smaller bits.

Do you want to share the fusion 360 tools database for your Budget Bits recommendation? It will be great!

Beginner question. Using Aspire software. I create the sign that I want. When setting up tool paths how do I know which bit I need to use? Or is this just a learning experience?

Great Video!! I see the Onefinity cnc in the background and does it take a different collet or will it accept both 1/4” and the smaller bits? Thanks

Good video as usual. Do you have info on feeds and speeds? Like apps. spreadsheet, etc.
Is such data inputs for chip loads etc really only specific to a bit manufacturer or can you use generalized data?
If not do you have suggestions on how to get informed in this area?

Thanks for the tips on the bits! I checked out your web site and am wondering if you can do those inlays with this CNC? I hope so mine is on the way :-)
Also I saw someone say that the machine has poor stepper motors and undersized what are your thoughts on this.... Thanks
