Fender Stratocaster SRV Stevie Ray Vaughan presented by Vintage Guitar Oldenburg & Tobias Hoffmann

The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper on the same instrument right before the recording of each video. A Red Panda Tensor was used for additional loops and sounds. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray and the Greer Amps Lightspeed as booster.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

Why would someone change the pickups in an SRV? That's a big part of the appeal!

SRV lebt weiter, auch mit dieser Gitarre. Alles was nicht nach SRV klingt, wirkt für mich fremd u. verwirrend mit dieser Gitarre. Einige Ansätze waren da. Ich selbst kanns auch nicht. Man ahnt die Power dieser Gitarre.
