Today we've got a fantastic Fender Signature guitar, a first-year 1992 Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster! This recreation of the SRV "Number One" Strat is in immaculate condition for being nearly 30 years old - totally original with perfect playability and sound. It's loaded with Texas Special pickups and a cool left-handed tremolo, and has all of the original paperwork from the factory in the original tweed case! A fantastic guitar and must have for those big SRV fans out there! Today we have Aaron Hiebert on the demo once again through Trevor's trusty 1965 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Amp

This guitar is almost as old now as Stevie’s strat was when he died…

I have a 2014 Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster and I love it!!! Great strats, and probably the best sounding and playing - especially when you tune it down half a step and play SRV stuff.

Well done guys, keep it coming. Aaron seemingly can do no wrong sonically. Killer sounding amp, too!

I think the fretboard is 12 inch radius and Pao Faro fretboard. I think he didn't mention that.

4.17.2022 So hey . . . Happy Easter! I have an SRV Sig Series Number One copy as well. Mine is as close to NEW as one can get from those years. It's never been outside, always inside. Always in it's case, which is also original, as is the paper work from when I purchased it from Ted Brown Music in Tacoma Washington. I have been considering, selling it. Stevie Ray was a friend of our family. He played with my brother in San Diego Ca a few times, jammed a couple of sessions at my Parent's house. We were just kids back then. Stevie was so cool. Just an awesome guy as I recall. Anyway... anyone have an idea of the Value of my guitar? And the best place to list it for sale. I want someone who will treat it with love and actually play it so it can SHINE.I played it perhaps 4 times for a total of about 1 hour. Let me know if you do. Thanks. Take care.

Pau Ferro Fretboard? I heard something about SRV guitars having that instead of rosewood.

We're talking about "one-owner" guitars from the 90s now? Geez, how old are you trying to make me feel??

my only critique is the pole position on each pickup is the same but aaron killed it on this recording!

Love the necks on these guitars, but dislike eveything else. You can build a fine guitar using the neck and sourced parts. My Lenny guitar has Rose pickups, an SRV neck, Standard body, Emerson pots, Eroc Johnson signature staggered tuners, silver waxed wiring, Gotoh bridge and It is a dream guitar. It is my favorite guitar. My first wife is a 98 Hardtail strat in sunburst bamed Martha.
