To answer any questions about the sound here, there are no effects or pedals used in this demo. This is the sound of the guitar plugged directly into a PRS Dallas 4x10.

I own a 1999 version of this guitar. This without a doubt is the best guitar I've ever played on. Stays in tune, great for bending, beefy single coil pickups and an overall tone monster. I love this Stratocaster

Man, that sound is superb!! I think you guys do a terrific job to recreate the proper sound for the guitar you're demoing. The John Mayer strat sounded like JM, this sounds like Stevie etc... They say one can't just pick up the same gear as an artist and sound exactly like him, but this is pretty fucking close! :)

I got me one of these in my opinion the best strat out there for texas style blues but i love using it also for hendrix stuff sounds fantastic im never selling it.

PRS Custom Audio Design Dallas 4x10 w/ Derek Trucks mods. Not sure the exact settings but the treble and mids are cranked and the bright switch is on. Gain is set fairly high. Thanks for watching!

Mud on the low-end and bite on the single notes all at once! Gnarly tone.

To me, that tone sounds very brittle, thin and shrill. SRV had a much warmer bigger sound.

Thanks for the review, but the tone was way too dirty.  SRV was much cleaner on most of the songs you demoed.  Love to hear how it really sounds.
