I've created the 8K video following your export options, but both my PC and 2016 model MacBook Pro couldn't play it. I tried to use 5kplayer on Mac to play it, while the music is running but there's no video and it prompts there's system limitations to play this video. Is it supposed to be playable on quicktime right after exporting or am I doing it wrong? Thanks for any help!

Didn’t work for me, I’m using 2018 version on windows. I click import, select the first image and check image sequence, after that when I try to preview the video, I get a black screen.
