Thank you so much for this! Your comment that pauses are where the bond deepens really changed my perspective on conversations, and friendship in general. I think a lot of people today are afraid of silence, to the point where it often seems like pauses are a sign of a shallow friendship. But as you mention here, silence is where growth occurs.

Great episode. I remember about 3 years ago talking with one of my high-school students about moments of silence in conversations. What surprised me a lot was their fear of silence in conversations. They had different "tecniques" to kill silence, and when they couldn't do anything, they told me: "Sir, when it gets to that point, we just open up our smartphones." I kept emphasizing to her that there is nothing wrong with silence and that she should not panic. I wish I had know all this back then. I would have told her: "Listening is Silent Love". Keep us posted on OptimalWork for high-school lads. - Thank you for your work.

I know a gentleman who's greatest skill has been to listen and he has incredible wealth and a blissful life because of this. By the way brilliant video. Very generous ro make this available. I used to be very good at listening but as I've gotten older I've forgotten the benefit I got personally from doing this. Thanks again.

Sharif and Dr. Majeres. What a great discussion on a critical topic. Which book by Barbara Euland are you referring to about blocking our inner being? Thank you about articulating the power of listening.
