Through humorous anecdotes and thought-provoking exercises, Phil demonstrates the importance of asking better questions, creating value, and practicing intentional communication. Whether it’s elevating casual chats, tackling pricing with confidence, or understanding how perception shapes value, this talk challenges professionals to rethink their approach to words. Discover why practice is the cornerstone of mastery and how to elevate your communication in moments that matter.

As someone who works in sales, the number one thing that is repeated during training is, good appearance, good attitude, Great customer service and EXCELLENT listening! Even if you don’t get the sale, they will remember how you made them feel.

One of the reasons I stand outside of my classroom, everyday, to greet my high school, to demonstrate they are and their time is the greatest thing of value to the school. I do my best to show them they are the pen in the mahogany box. It matters especially when they don’t want to see you or you don’t want to be out there.

As a school chaplain and sometimes small group facilitator, I have had to learn these skills. And now I love it! One of my greatest joys is to meet someone and get to know them. Really know them. I can share stuff about myself, if it’s useful and relevant.

Good. The only thing is, when listening don’t be like “yeah sure” “wow yeah nice”.. silence means absence of sound. The rest is spot on

This video was less about unlocking conversation through questions and more about the power of listening.

This can be applied in many industries not just real estate, not just sales.

I have a trick to open any conversation with any person. I say, "Hello, I'm Eryck with a 'Y.'" Thats how my name is spelt, and it sparks many conversations amd gets the gears turning. It has always worked for me

This video has helped me alot to improve on my sells by putting in creativity using the same products. I just change the colour and packing size plus the labels and then my clients think that i have upgraded and buy them on high prices
