Ulnar Nerve Compression - MSR Release Protocol

Показать описание
Ulnar Nerve Compression - MSR Release Protocol - InUlnar nerve entrapment is a condition that frequently manifests at the inner regions of the elbow and wrist. In this video, our primary objective is to demonstrate the release of the ulnar nerve utilizing Motion Specific Release (MSR) procedures. These techniques aim to alleviate compression and restore optimal nerve function. Patients suffering from ulnar nerve compression often report sensory alterations, such as numbness, tingling, or pain, predominantly affecting the fourth and fifth fingers. We strive to alleviate these symptoms by employing MSR techniques and promoting improved nerve health.

I’ve been dealing with ulnar nerve issues for a few months now and did do a bunch of nerve glide exercises. The pain was always at the elbow but has stopped completely more than a month ago. Just five days ago, I started having a throbbing pain on the palm side at the base of the pinky finger and it hurts as if I had hit my thumb with a hammer. Sometimes the pain keeps pulsating even when I go to bed and am not moving. Really debilitating and maddening! I was sleeping with a brace to prevent bending the arm. I stopped using it. I haven’t injured myself, this pain is related to the ulnar nerve; the pain just happens to be at a different location now. Any feedback is welcome, thank you.

I wish I could get checked by you guys, the place that I live in the Philippines has no access to any of these treatments. Been suffering ulnar nerve pain for 2 months and we can't really afford tests atm but still a good video nonetheless.. 😢

Thank you so much for this. I have been having numbness in my pinky and ring fingers and along the side of my hand. This video has let me know what the problem is. I'm not in the US so I can't visit you. Would my problem be something I would go to a doctor for? Or would a physiotherapist be more appropriate? Thanks again for the great video.

I have had three rounds of ulnar nerve entrapment, the first two I did PT which was laborious which all I ever heard was about “building strength”, I have had three active release sessions in two weeks and I am back to about 95%

After a spontaneous blood vessel rupture in my left bicep area as I flexed my arm the pain become more severe each time and within 20 minutes I could not bend my arm. In the meantime my pinky finger became numb. I went to the hospital admitted overnight - my whole hand went numb but then my thumb, index, and middle finger regained feeling by the next morning. my outside ring finger and Pinky up to the wrist are totally numb and have been for about eight weeks. I'm really fearful the treatment I'm getting is superficial and may cause long-term damage if not addressed. I've been told him to wait for 6 months to see if the nerve regrow or rehabilitates. But I've also been told that the nerve may rehabilitate but my muscle may die in my fingers because they will have atrophied over this time.

are there any specific protocols or treatment that I should be seeking ou? Or specialist that I should see. I've seen a vascular surgeon who says there's nothing he can do that it's not a vascular issue. I've seen a orthopedic specialist who had me come back in a month and then did a EMR nerve test that was done by a different fellow the test showed I had 15% nerve living 85% dead or died. The specialist then said I should wait wait 6 months to see if the nerve would regrow. I've seen my primary doctor. I've had cat scan and MRI. Other than that I have not seen a nerve specialist or any other specialist and I'm afraid that if I don't I'm going to regret not taking some action between now and just waiting for 6 months. Any ideas? Much appreciated

Hey, hope your well. Whenever I lift weights on a pushing motion. Ie: push-up, bench press, over head press. At times I get a very uncomfortable and often painful snapping sensation on the ulnar nerve in the elbow. I’ve stretched, given it time to heal. There have been incidents where the pain and tenderness lasted over a month. I can resume weight lifting normally, until again that pop or snap when lifting under load. I’m thinking this is perhaps due to tight pectoral/bicep or forearms. It’s been an issue for over a year, very inconvenient and annoying. Would love your opinion, thanks !

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. You had mentioned in another comment to make sure that any professional as experience in nerve entrapment release. From my searching online, it appears that most doctors/professionals are more geared toward surgery than less invasive measures. Should I be asking up from about non-surgical methods to release ulnar nerve entrapment. I am dealing with the sensations in the pinky and ring finger, have lost some motor control in the pinky, and have some weakness in my thumb and other fingers. I can still do many things, hit the gym, etc. but it is very annoying. Thanks for any feedback!

I am just sitting here, home from hospital trying to fix my hand. They think and I think something is trapped in my wrist. Either the nerve or the tendon, or there is a bleeding or inflammation in there, just below the hand and a bit to the pinky-side ... I wish you worked in my town. The pain is horrible.

Hello Sir, I was wondering if doing this would help with a wrist injury in my left hand right where the ulner nerve is located? I seems like half a year ago I was shooting a sling shot, teaching my kids how to properly handle one, well the next day I woke up and has been hurting ever since and never resolved. I went to a urgent care and got a xray of it, so I know the shock didn't break it, I wear a brace on and off, but it's just never healed. I was wondering if a Chiropractor doctor could do some adjustments to my wrist over a course of time or even once that may fix the problem. Thanks in advance for any helpful tips, take care sir.

Would you recommend surgery to release it? I found a surgeon offer to do so.

There is constant pain and numbness in the little finger for four days. When I touch the elbow, I feel more pain in the two fingers. What do you advise me to do? I don’t even know whether to go to a specialist.

My problem is when I’m weightlifting or playing basketball, the spot on the inside of my left elbow like pulls? Or something, if I fully extend knuckles up and push my thumb towards my body I can feel it like move and pop. Idk it’s so weird and kinda affects the mobility of my left arm which is tough for an athlete

Can the ulnar nerve be entrapped in the shoulder, or brachial plexus? My daughter’s pinky is numb and she can’t lift her arm due to severely tight muscles around her shoulder.
