Interesting enough - I recently changed pillows and started suffering from a numb forefinger and thumb, along with a stiff neck. The tingling would wake me up at night and I would have to change positions. Went back to my previous pillow and the issues went away. Turns out new pillow was too high and seemed to be impinging a nerve off my neck, affecting my fingers. 🤷‍♀️

I was in a car accident and was waking up with numbness tingling worse when I raised my arms with weakness.I saw a specialist in Denver CO. He did the surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome
They went up under my arm pits they remove the small about 4” rib on each side he told me due to the accident nerves and blood vessels running between the small rib were being pinched off! When he got in there muscles had torn and had reattached all over ribs so he tried to clean it up the best he could. He also told me if the front looked that bad then the back of the neck and shoulder area were going to have pretty much the same thing going on! I later down the road did end up with bone on bone in that neck nerve compression I had to have a fusion at the C-6 and now I’m having problems again! My low back L-4 &5 S1 and now by back is giving me trouble in the middle! I’m scared because it just keeps progressing! They suggest things but nothing seems to improve anything just steady decline! Is there anything that can be done to give me long lasting results or am I headed for just decline and pain that’s what I haven’t stated above I have a lot of pain mornings are the worst if I get up and get moving it does help with decrease some of the pain!

I had the numbness and tingling. Ended up having my ulnar nerve surgically moved towards the bottom on my forearm as tests showed it was being crowded. No more problems unless I put too much pressure on my forearm, such as resting it on the table and the table edge is pushing into it.

I have this! My ulnar nerve is thick scarred and sublexes when I bend my elbow with my two fingers going numb. Thanks to competitive powerlifting and working in health care. Sounds like I’m
Off for surgery to have it pinned. No other braces or options have worked for me. :(

I spent 2 months only being able to feel half of both of my arms because of this.

I could only feel the halves of my arm facing my torso, from elbow to fingers. It was wild.
