THANK YOU! I've been dealing with this for many months (due to major shoulder surgery). The surgeons I consulted all said surgery was necessary. I've taken the conservative approach, and so far, so good. I splint at night and go easy on it during the day. I'll continue doing this to see if I can get out of another surgery.

Can an IV damage the nerve place on the inside of the arm? Feels like a knot in my bicep.

I had a hip resurfacing done two weeks ago. Woke up feeling like I’d been run over by a truck. A week later as I’m winding down on the pain killers I notice that my left pinky and half of ring finger feel numb. A week later now and it’s getting worse. Burning sensation in outside of palm and shooting pops of electric pain right behind “funny bone” when flexing elbow in and out. I can palpate this spot resulting in immediate short burst of buzzing pain. Not fun. What did they do to me while I was under anesthesia??

Strike the elbow? Like funny bone?
I went through surgery two months ago, but MRI after neural (fun electric shock testing up the arm) tests to determine where the problem was (behind elbow). MRI showed calcium spurs in track. You Didn't really address how long it takes for the tingling to go away.

I'm 60, female, and have been suffering from this for over 4 years. The paresthesia always happens during my sleep.

My fingers on my left hand went numb on the ring and pinky after donating blood, I know people, like the blood bank blame other things but it is no coincidence it felt strange the day of and went numb the day after donating blood, some 8 years later I finally had an emg study done which basically shows a dead short at the elbow
