Jeez...I've listened to this song a lot, but I just got the lyrics....God is the bank for my river; guiding me through life....He breaks the mirrors when I try to judge or shame myself. This song just got 10 times more beautiful!

How awesome to discover them at 72, just saw them live in Cleveland Ohio for the first time & I never sat down once. NeedToBreathe is a National treasure, something I never thought I'd find again in the music world. It was pure ecstasy for me at that concert !

My wife and I just discovered you guys when you were touring with One Republic in St. Paul this last year. When you all played this live we both knew that this would be our new song for each other. Such a perfect description of what marriage and partnership is!

Two things I have remembered while watching this:
1. NEEDTOBREATHE is a beast of a band and I don't know why I ever stopped listening.
2. This is such a gorgeous love song and it makes me think of my wife immediately. Find a woman that makes you feel this way fellas.

I love how the lyrics explain how the banks of a river compare to His protection and keeping us close to Him. The banks give the river boundaries yet also allows direction of flow and they narrow when necessary. Just my observation
