When I was fighting for my life in Nov'21 on the ventilator from Covid- at 3am in the morning- I remember it clear as day! This was the song that I awoke to on the TV music channel and from that moment on my medical team kept telling me I was a MIRACLE and they never saw any patient like me in the state I was in. I knew listening to this song- that I had to FIGHT and that the Lord had never left my side.

A few months ago, I picked a random Indie folk playlist to listen to while I cleaned the cheetah exhibit. This song came on and I stopped what I was doing to look at my phone because I enjoyed it so much. I didn't realize it was needtobreathe who I have listened to on the radio for years. As I listened to the song, I started to tear up. When I picked the zookeeper career path, I was full of passion and determination. But even though I had achieved the goal I worked so hard for, it had taken a toll. The Georgia humidity, sweat, being away from the small town I loved but left, all made me forget why I was there. I listened to this song and it reminded me. It reminded me that things take time, to look back but don't look too long, and to hang on. Since then I've been offered a position much closer to home doing exactly what I've always wanted. So thank you for helping me hang on to my love drunk original reason, it made a difference.
