Let’s goo!! The biggest band you’ve never heard of.

my dad told me about this really cool new band he heard on the radio one day in early 2010. he said to look up the song Lay Em Down by Needtobreathe. I was hooked immediately. We went to our first NTB show in April 2012 on The Reckoning tour at House of Blues in Dallas. together he and I saw 3 more NTB shows, and I've personally seen 12. anytime we were in the car, it was Needtobreathe coming out of the speakers. belting Washed By The Water on our way to a baseball game. singing Oohs and Ahs (poorly, I might add) on our way to Lowes for whatever home repair we were working on. we bonded over this band like none other. the music connected us. it moved our souls so deeply. my dad passed away in July of 2018 from lung cancer. Everytime a new NTB record has come out, I email it to him anyway, even though I know he's already heard it. but what I'd give to see his face light up hearing new Needtobreathe for the first time.

thank you, guys. you're music has changed my life in so many ways. this is just one of them.

I'll never forget seeing NEEDTOBREATHE in a little basement bar in Glasgow, Scotland on the Rivers tour. One of the best gigs I've ever seen.

I just saw them for the first time open for OneRepublic in VA last week and I was highly impressed. I love how concerts can introduce you to artists you wouldn't have necessarily heard before. Now I'm definitely a fan. They consider themselves Christian country rock, which isn't something I would normally listen to in that genre, but I love everything they played last week and I was into all the tunes. Definitely would see them again. They are fantastic live.
