I’m excited for Gilded because Renegades and the Lunar Chronicles are both some of my all time favorite series but I’m sad to say I didn’t really like Heartless which was Marissa Meyer’s other fantasy reworking…. So hopefully Gilded is more enjoyable for me 🙏🏻

I'm anticipating Lore Olympus Volume 1 by Rachel Smythe! It's a Hades and Persephone retelling! I have read it on Webtoons and I'm so excited to have a physical copy of it! It's released October 5th, and I have already pre-ordered it! My other anticipated release is Feather and Flame by Livia Blackburne; it's a sequel to Disney's Mulan! That one is release November 9th! 💛

So excited for Kingdom of the Cursed, Kingdom of the wicked I loved so much and I 'm also excited for Vespertine, Sorcery of thorns was my favorite book of last year and Also I love The Renegades series and the last book Marissa Meyer put out so super excited for that too. So Many!

I think they changed the Renegades UK covers to be the same as the US ones, with only a slight difference in the colours

I'm also looking forward to empire of the vampire and vespertine! I think you might like skin of the sea. It's a west African mythology inspired story. Mermaids are suppose to collect souls of the ones that died at sea. However the main character had saved a boy at sea and this is going against order and she will be punished for it. I'm not good with summery 😅

I really want to read Star Eater it sounds so good even though cannibals scare me more than anything else.

I didn't know of Gilded but I adore retellings so will badly need this one.

I forgot Cytonic came out this year comes out around my birthday as well so looks like a good little birthday gift for myself.

I am only anticipating two I believe for the rest of the year and that's Defy The Night by Brigod Kemmerer and Everyone You Hate Is Going To Die by Daniel Sloss (was meant to come out last year and got pushed back like a full year so like I NEED IT NOW)

For people who liked The House in the Cerulean Sea, a new book by this author is coming out in September. I’ve heard so little people talk about this but I already pre-ordered this book back in February lol😂. It’s called Under a Whispering Door.

I recieved an ARC for Star Eater and was seriously disappointed in its lack of worldbuilding, but I hope others have a better experience with it than I did. I'm really excited for Vespertine though!!
