I have, without a doubt, not included a tonne of upcoming bangers. Let me know if there are any other books you're excited about for 2025!

I just LOVE your channel! Im Swedish/European, living in the US since 25 years. Most book tubers talk about the US market, and thats great, but I love to find tubers that represent the rest of all the fantastic literature out there in our beautidul world. SO inspirational with the books you are talking about.

Leila Mottley's new novel is coming out June 2025! 😁 It's called The Girls Who Grew Big. Nightcrawling was fierce, so I'm there for anything she writes.

So many great books to look forward to and so little time! Ali Smith’s Gliff is finally out in the US soon and I cannot wait to read it. There is a new Anne Tyler in February (Three Days in June) which sounds amazing and will be my belated “Ann-uary” read. Other books in the first half of the year I am really excited about are a memoir by Marcus Zusak (Three Wild Dogs and the Truth), a short story collection by Graham Swift (Twelve Post-War Tales) and novels by Fredrik Backman (My Friends) and Rachel Joyce (The Homemade God). Here’s to a great reading year!

Aerth sounds brilliant. What a unique concept. Just added that one to my list of books to read. I like the sound of The Antidote too. I enjoyed Universality by Natasha Brown. I loved Assembly by her. I'm really looking forward to the new book by Ocean Vuong. And I can't wait for the new book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It'll be my 6th book by her 😀.

This set of books is awesome—I’ve been looking for an online book person for awhile and have only run across fantasy/YA/sci-fi reviewers. Thanks for the recommendations—I can’t wait to read them (although, of course, I will have to, which is fine) and I’ll be checking out your older videos for more books. 🦋

Some here I was also looking forward to (Book of Guilt!) but also some new to me that I’ve added to the list - thank you. My other most anticipated are My Friends by Fredrik Backman and Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy.

Okay, I haven’t watched your video yet so for all I know you cover these, but here’s my list. I’ve been working on it since Septemberish. I’m very excited to read Playworld by Adam Ross. It’s out here on Tuesday and I managed to find it early. Also - How to Sleep at Night by Elizabeth Harris, The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan, We Lived on the Horizon by Erica Swyler, and the English Problem by Beena Kamlani. And that’s just January! It’s the most fabulous time of year to be a book lover!

Torrey Peters has a new book coming out, Stag Dance, in March. I'm in Australia though so can't say for sure when being released in other countries. I'm super keen to read the new Natasha Brown.

Apart from Atmosphere by TJR, my other most anticipated book is Kakigori Summer by Emily Itami as I loved their debut novel Fault Lines. My fave TJR book is Malibu Rising, which was my favourite book of the year the year it came out .
