8:41 about the page numbers: most physical books have 16-page signatures. 384 is divisable by 16. So that's why you see that number pop up quite often in publishing 😁

Also coming out in 2025:
- the third (final?) Emily Wilde
- new arc for Finlay Donovan (book #5)
- standalone "Gifted & Talented" by Olivie Blake
- sequel "Everybody Wants to Rule the World Except Me" by Django Wexler
- Amina al-Sirafi #2
- Hell for Hire #3
Looks like 2025 is going to be a good year for books. :)

So excited about The Strength of the Few! I read the Will of the Many based on your recommendation and really enjoyed it. That book gave me so many questions I need answers to, so I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

I just need 2025 to be a better year for new releases than 2024 😮‍💨It does look promising so far, I'm especially excited about The Strength of the Few and A drop of corruption. Please don't let me down!!

I know it sounds odd to be 384 pages but it's because of how the printing presses are designed. All books need to be setup to be divisible by 8 pages!! I know that is weird, but it's a weird printing thing. I do book formatting and that is typically what we setup the book with :) Loved the recommendations. I have saved the one by Grady Hendrix. Sounds good :)

As a skeptical romance reader myself, I read Part of Your World after your review. I can safely say it slowly kickstarted my interest back into romance cause I was giggling too!

I had a bunch of these on my list! :D
I also had two that you didn't. In January there's an adult fantasy coming out called The Outcast Mage. And there's a cosy, found family fantasy coming out in March called Homegrown Magic. I'm so pumped for 2025 releases! 2024 has been a real new release let down so I'm hoping 2025 books redeem my faith in new released books.

Grady is on my TBR and I haven't read a bad Kingfisher book yet. Got the Scalzi one too and it's taking all of my self control not to crack it open yet :D Thanks for reminding me... The Tainted Cup was on my most anticipated of 2024 and I still haven't gotten to it :P And dang it, I need to read The Devils too. Too many good books, I can't keep up. Fires of Vengeance, need to read. Bury Our Bones... need to read. (the fact you have the ARC for that more than makes up for not having The Devils - I'm envious ;) ) Can't wait for Kuang or Lee either. Ugh. I think I need to sleep less :D

I was fortunate to read an eARC of "A Drop of Corruption". It was brilliant.
My most anticipated book alongside "Katabasis" is the second volume of "Amina al-Sirafi" by Sannon Chakraborty even if we don't have a title yet. I need more badass older female in Fantasy.

Just finished „Daughter of Mine“ and it might be the best of the Meghan Miranda books I read so far. I saw you read it too, I can‘t wait for your Review! It is more of a family drama though, I am not sure if it was your cup of tea…
