So excited for Silverborn, I've had it preordered for so long and I'm so ready to be back in that world. I do feel like I've forgotten what happened in the last book though 😥

Looking forward to Bonded in Death, because should be a pretty satisfying installment. You put a few mysteries (especially the last 3) on my radar that I might have missed, so thank you for those.

Yea! A visit with Mara!! Glad you are excited about books again! Kelley Armstrong has a new Haven's Rock one coming in February. I love her Rockton and Haven's Rock series. And, Dana Stabenow has a new one in her historical mystery series, The Eye Of Isis, called Abduction of a Slave. Her Kate Shugak series is one of my all time mystery favorites, and this newer series is set in first century Egypt, which I find interesting. Thank you for all the info!

I don’t think I’m ready for 2024 to end and 2025 to begin? Why is time simultaneously lumbering and buzzing ahead. It’s not mindful and not demure.

I love your recommendations! I’m really interested in Your Are Fatally Invited. I may preorder. I just finished Pony Confidential by Christina Lynch and loved it. Don’t know if you’ve mentioned it but it was great.

I felt that sigh after mentioning the tariffs in my whole body 😅 Added a couple books I haven't heard of yet to my radar from this video! 2025 is looking to be the year of 2nd books in new mystery series I enjoyed coming out (all with ridiculously long titles): How to Seal Your Own Fate, Vera Wong's Guide to Snooping on a Dead Man, and No One Was Supposed to Die at This Wedding are some of my most anticipated!

I'd started the Girls Meets Duke series around the hype of the third book coming out, figuring I'd be able to catch up by the last one and then look into her backlist...and 5 years later I have since completed 2 of her backlist series while waiting. But I've also decided that for the first time, I'm not including The Bride Bet on my anticipated releases in my reading journal because it has disappointed me too many times, lol.
But some books I am confident about in 2025:
-The last book in the Hart & Mercy series by Megan Bannen
-The last book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series by Lyla Sage
-The sequel to Swordcatcher by Cassandra Clare
-Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by VE Schwab and The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater (I'm tentative about the blurbs, but I love the authors)
-I'd picked up Killers of a Certain Age from BOTM, so if they also do the sequel, I'll definitely grab it
-Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green (I do love his nonfiction writing)
-Homegrown Magic by Jamie Pacton (it sounds delightful)
-First Time Caller by BK Borison (I actually don't like books based on romcom movie plots...but I loved the author's Lovelight series so much...)

And ALSO, I love your sweater! My eyes are tricking me about the color, but that pattern looks cozy and screams fall to me, lol.

Charlotte McConaghy has a new one coming out in March and I cannot wait. Migrations and Once There Were Wolves are some of my favorite books ever. Plus, the cover is stunning.
