Night By Elie Wiesel, An unbelievably tragic memoir. Night is a legendary memoir which details a young Jewish boy and his experiences of being taken by the Germain forces in WWII. Night is truly tragic, and definitely don't read it if you are in the mood for an uplifting story.

I'll read a different book with you guys every month in discord. check it out!

"We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." Elie Wiesel

I really appreciate non-fiction being inserted in BookTube content. WWII and the atrocities against the Jews is unfathomable. Such a horrific part of history. You got me thinking when you said that this could be empathy-provoking for people who struggle to experience empathy. I wonder if certain content can help someone cultivate empathy. Interesting thought. Thanks for sharing this.

I remember reading this in High School. Great book. I agree. It should still be required.

It sounds like an interesting viewpoint. I don’t like memoirs but something like this I would read.

Lol an anti-fascist 😂
One of my favorite books is All But My Life which is also very heavy, so I am all for these types of reviews. I will need to read Night one of these days.
