On my case, the registry file cannot import saying the specified file is not a registry script, and tells me that I can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor.

I have been trying to get rid of Microsoft Edge for the past week and have followed the instructions given on at least five other videos to the letter - each time falling at the last hurdle. Even edited windows update will find ways of trying to take over your computer and reinstall of push a corrupt update for edge later on. I opted for the 2nd option. Remove file relations in standard apps and deactive it from the line of startup programs. remove it from the taskbar, windows start. it's like it was never there and you can't really go wrong with it

Mine has at least two different locations: "C:\Program Files and "C:\Program Files

What should I do if there are two or more locations?

Nico, Edge stopped working yesterday, I re-ran your Tron antivius script but was not able to make EDGE work again. I tried to delete Edge with your solution and did not work. I used Revo Uninstaller and cleaned the computer from EDGE. You do great work!

Followed instructions (carefully) 3 times. Unfortunately the "Installer" folder was not changed. Using Win10.

It was fine as a secondary browser, but with the addition of WebVieW2 and more and more cheeky "user cheating" settings, it lost its trust for me forever. ❌

Not sure what im doing wrong ive attempted this with both installer options from edge core and edge i get the prompt to allow the modification after pressing enter on the command however nothing happens after that.

I just tried this and am getting the following error...Cannot import normoredge.reg: the specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files with the registry editor. I copied and pasted directly from your description. Any advice?
