I’ve been improving my looks for around a year now and i’d say most girls care about personality more than looks. As i’ve started to look better and focus on myself more i’ve found it much harder to talk to girls let alone have a girlfriend. My advice would be to not only work on how you look but also how you talk and treat people.

Standards & what's considered masculine greatly declined during the 20th century to the point of masculinity=grossness. Bringing back hygiene, grooming & just generally trying to look your best. Hipsters brought back beard care, maybe 'looksmaxxing' will bring back the rest.

just a little note, all the male models you see wear makeup, just stuff to even out their skintone for photoshoots, the very masculine straight men, wear makeup, to just make their skin look clearer/conceal dark spots or eyebags, sometimes light mascara to make their eyelashes show (not very much at all). Maybe fill in their brows if they’re thinner, its not all girly, and feminine with makeup, but male models do wear makeup, just to look cleaner and more put together.

TLDR: male models wear makeup too btw, for their skin to look clearer, and hide their eyebags n shit.
