I'm not a chad yet I get plenty of long eye contact with girls, when I was in London last year many of those situations were followed by a smirk or a smile. But I would disagree on it as a strong choosing signal, many women do that just to get confimation about their good looks, however if you are walking along with few other males and she locks eyes with you most likely were chosen as the most attractive out of the bunch (no woman would like to get this sort of confimation from a non attractive guy, she will choose the most attractive option to get the reaction). Other thing I would strongly disagree is the compliments, I know a chad that barely been told he is attractive in his life, it might be due to the fact that women know that he knows he is attractive so why bother telling him the obvious truth, its like telling a fat person that he/she is fat. On the other side I have a chubby short guy in my social circle that is constantly told by girls he is good looking, yet he didnt even kiss any of those girls who told him that, it's just to boost him up because those girls know his life is going to be the one of celibacy and they dont want him to rope or something. It works because his ego is out of this planet.
