I also had to deal with a lot of injuries and some lapses in motivation. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this is my 5 year natural body transformation.

“Every time you didn't quit, you beat someone who did.”

Truly wise words

I'm a skinny guy, 6'3 and now almost a year into my journey. I'm at a point where I'm questioning my progress due to having unrealistic expectations and this video really gives me a reality check. Thanks alot for keeping it real and motivating plenty of people like myself. We're all in this together 🙌💪

Seeing this, and the fact that it took you 5 years to achieve, it really relieved me.
I've been a year into workouts, and I felt really called out when you've shown your early progress.
I was truly worried my body just wasn't going anywhere, that I had to wait until I'm 25 to actually start.
I'm 53kg and I really want to put on weight, but I can't.
You were kind of the final nail in the coffin for that idea that it's impossible for me.

Thank you. You taught me the lesson of patience for my own body.

This is so inspiring 👏👏👏 I'm a 32 year old South African school teacher and I grew up so healthy and fit but I don't know what happened to me. All of a sudden I'm just a fat dad. But I swear this videos gave me back that spark. I'm back!!!

Great motivation, I'm only at the beginning of my own transformation (39 weeks in and about 35lbs down), but seeing the results of long term dedication is great inspiration. Great job and keep it up

This is why it’s so important to take progress photos.
I don’t do this enough, and I definitely need to start taking videos of myself lifting weights to see how my form needs to improve and how I’ll (hopefully) go from squatting just the bar to some actual weight lol
I shattered my pelvis over a decade ago and the struggle is real. Losing my insurance coverage and losing the ability to go to physical therapy (this was pre smartphone/YouTube being a big thing yet) and then getting lazy about it when I could have been doing PT at home and not wanting to go to the right dr when I DID get insurance back to fix tears in my hip joints … choosing to just “accept it” and be content with all the pain pills the bad drs would give me, instead of fixing the problem, is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever done and I regret it so much now that I’m almost 40 and finally taking my diet and health seriously.
But I had a kid recently and I want to be a healthy mom who teaches my child that being strong is better than being thin, that it’s not about how you look but how you feel, and the classic “you are what you eat” is pretty freakin legit, all things in moderation tho - it’s ok to have a cheat meal here and there and being restrictive isn’t good, either. To be kind to others, empathy is lacking in this world, to cheer others accomplishments and just bc you’re better off than someone else doesn’t mean you should treat them differently or look down on them. I see a lot of negativity and bullying in gym culture but I also see a lot of amazing personal progress stories and a lot of people who want to help us newbies learn the ropes.
My boyfriend and his teenage son go with me to the gym now and it’s becoming a good habit for us all, one I hope we stick with and in five years look back and are happy we did it.

This is really inspiring.I have just begun my transformation journey, I started at 6'1 and 64 kgs and within 3 months I gained 5 kgs and was struggling to see anymore improvements and this made me realise that maybe i should try out different exercises to see some noticeable changes

The hardest part of my fitness journey is to know when to stop and to find out that fitness is a part of wellness. For a lot of guys, it's about getting as big as possible or attention from others. That's not the right way to do it. I can see that OP did it for himself. So thanks for sharing your journey with us

Won’t they be surprised at your high school reunion! A great reminder of the importance of sticking with it, step by step. A skill/habit that transfers to all sorts of accomplishments in life. It will be fun seeing where your journey takes you- I hope only to great places.

Such a great video; thank you for sharing your journey. You are an inspiration for many others who want to get from 'here' to 'there', no matter what activity they are working on improving.
