The 3 member presidency is part of the Dayton peace agreement (called so because it was signed in Dayton Ohio) which became the Bosnian constitution. While it stopped the war and killing it made sure that the country can never function normally. In order for something to pass all 3 members of the presidency have to agree on it almost never happens because Croat and Serb members of the presidency usually care more about what Serbia and Croatia want. Bosnia is still pretty much a target of both Serbia and Croatia who use their influence in the country to make sure nothing actually gets done and the country falls apart so they can expand. As it stands now Bosnia is the UN protectorate and the highest political power in the country is actually in the hands of the so called "UN High Representative" who has the power to pretty much do anything he wants. The current High Representative is the German Christian Schmidt.

The main reason why Bosnia works like this is bc of the Yugoslav Wars (the country from which Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro split off).
Essentially there was a LOT of hostility between the different people groups in Bosnia which lead to all of them wanting their own separate state entities.
The issue with that was the fact that the ethnic map of the region looks like someone splattered drops of different color paint all over so it's basically impossible to draw clean, compact borders based on ethnic divisions in that mess. This lead to a long and extremely brutal civil war which saw some of the worst atrocities and genocide since the end of WW2.
If you want an example of what it looked like, look up "Srebrenica massacre" on Wikipedia and apply it basically throughout the whole country.
Serbs killing Bosniaks, Croats killing Bosniaks, Serbs killing Croats, Bosniaks killing Croats, Bosniaks killing Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats teaming up against Serbs, etc.
The whole country was a giant dumpster fire of genocidal war and also one of the main reasons UN Peace Keepers have the reputation of being useless...
After a whole lot of needless death, material damage and polluting of much of the country with landmines, it finally ended and we have Bosnia as it is today.

Back in the day it was all Yugoslavia UNTILL the war 92-95 yea we all have different presidents because of the war that was because Serbs wanted it all to be Serbia not Yugoslavia . If he knew what he was talking about as a Muslim IF U ARE DYING OR DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO EAT ( the war ) if eaten pork u will be forgiven if you have nothing else to eat and most people died from hunger and the killing they did . And Bosnia has no problem with no other country . Just other countries have problems with Bosnia because we are Muslim .

Muslims call themselves Bosniaks, term invented in 1992 for Muslims. During Yugoslavia Muslims choose to be ethnicly Serbs since they converted from orthodox Christianity to Islam during Otomanian empire. Bosnians is term for all groups in north.
You have to try čevapi or čevapčići the most popular street food in the Balkans. It is beef in traditional pita bread. You have it in Serbian or Bosnian restaurants. Also burek (cheese, meat or potato pastry) is hugely popular

Before Jugoslavia and Austrohungarian exist in Bosnia are all Bosniaks People With 3 Religion and athe second people are Serbs are Vlahs who mostly Settled by Ottomans Turks to Lived in Bosnia to work for them but the Majority Are Bosniaks wich in that time all Historian Recognized from 15th to half of 19th even Serbian Natioanlistic Historian Ilija Garašnin says this and this is the Guy who assimilated Bosniaks Orthodox and Vlahs, Croats and Montnegrins into Serbs the same happend with Bosniak Catholix thei become Croats beceause of Religion By Croatia thei do this beceause Balkan Christians was doesnt reconized Muslim People there the Hate us bc of Turkish Ottoman Empire occupation thei createtd New Christian Nations that thei belong to Europeans Before that Croats and Serbs doesnt exist in Bosnia a Historian Fra Ivan Jukic from Bosnia in 19th replied to the then Croatian nationalist historians from Croatia with the text who describe themself as Bosniak Catholic man here in Bosnia Catolic People doesnt know what is Croat this Word is strange for People Here and thei called themself as Bosniaks Same with Serbs only thei knew Vlahs from Eastern Bosnia as Serbs but the Minortiy of Bosniak Orthodox who converted from Catholic Religion to Orthodox Doesnt Know for Serbs
