We have all come across them in our matches at some point. The moonball can be one of the most frustrating and difficult styles to play against. In this OMC I help to handle moonballs with ease and confidence. HAVE FUN😁

Great video, will try to use the breakdown between 'slice' moonballs and topspin moonballs tomorrow. Never looked at them that way. Thanks!

This is defo an advanced solution. You make it look it easy! Unless you have muscle memory in tennis, moon balls are a nightmare

My question wasn't how to keep a point going with a moon baller. It was how to win.

Swing volley would be another option and would cause the opponent the most grieve.

Great efforts Will! Can you make a video on how to hit running forehands? I tend to do squash shots or chip the ball when I'm forced to run.

Great!!! Thanks!!! Can you do a video of how to return underarm serves? There’s no video out there on how to deal and/or return those underarm serves. Thanks!

Hi Will I am interested in your take on putting away short balls mid court, especially with little pace on them. Thanks finding your videos very insightful and helpful.

What are your views on using the swing volley to discourage moon balling

Will., thanks for your lessons coach, I appreciate it. By the way, is there a way for me to get some t shirts like the one that you wore in this video. Cool shirt, looks like a shirt from the god of the sea, lol.

Great coaching. One question though, when I am able to hit top spin moon ball early but my return typically lands mid court… then it gives opponent opportunity to move in to attack. How to handle that?

Sweet video will! I've been watching a lot of your videos recently and was wondering what racquet setup you have. Just curious.

Hey Will! How about handling moon balls on the back hand?

Great video. I have developed the skill to force weak balls from my opponent. However, I struggle to capitalize and take good advantage of the opportunity. Are there any drills that you would recommend to get more adept at attacking weak balls?

thanks for this great lesson.

I noticed you didn't mention deep Back Spin (slice) shot as a counter shot for Top Spin Moonball, but rather flat - push back shot.

Is there a tactical reason for not responding with "natural" counter shot to top spin incoming (moon)ball ?

Love your videos! Can you make a video on a strategy for out of shape players to win point earlier and not be dead by end of 1st set?

I love your videos, thank you!

My question for a future 1m clinic has to do with kill shots. When you hit a good shot to induce a short, high, weak shot from your opponent so you come in to the service line area to put it away. When it is around shoulder/head high and you can't hit an overhead, I struggle with my swing path to get enough topspin to really be aggressive with it and hit 75% into the net. Why? Please help.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. my question: So, let's say you've made what you think is a solid shot and you're heading for the net. But then, either your shot isn't as great as you thought, or your opponent is ready to respond. What's the game plan then? How do you turn things around when your approach shot isn't quite up to par? Would love to hear your thoughts!

When ur standing at the baseline and you get nice flat or topspin return that lands on the baseline. How do u return these. I see pros bending very low and taking it early... thanks...LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!

There are many videos on how to deal with moonballers, but I'd like to see a video on how to BE an effective moonballer. In certain situations I would like to moonball my opponent because they are impatient or have better fitness than me, but I can't seem to get it to work. Moonballing is always kinda seen with contempt, but I'd like to have tips on how to use it effectively, when and how.
