Moonballers are expert in using the sun to their advantage

Just be patient. Moonballers literally give you MORE time.

As a young tennis player, this is one of my most hated shots an opponent could make
landdd
I recently faced one and defeated him with serve and volley and hard/tricky returns, then hitting smashes every comfortable high ball. Pretty easy but the match still lasted 3h☠️

I'm 22 and these still scare the hell out of me!

What I try and do is bring them into the net as much as possible by hitting drop shots off their server and other shots, it usually works

Super easy. I remember I used to hate moonballers back in high school

I'm actually gonna use this moonball technique whenever I face a cheater or annoying opponent

I wish these guys faced Federer or something. Would be satisfying to see.

Once a ball from a moonballer touched the moon

I remember when I was 12-14. Pushers seemed absolutely impossible to beat and when frustrate me to the point that I’ve broken some racquets in anger. Once I went through puberty and got strong enough to put some power on my shots, beating pushers became a walk in the park

There Is no better chance to practice your shoots than agaunst moonballers !

When you get skilled, these type of players are done easy

I can understand sooo much the frustration of the young players. Nowadays I make them desperate easily, but they were a True!

used to struggle too, until my strokes got better. Being able to hit a quality stroke out of a moonball shall be taught as tennis 101 by all coaches

When I was young I had a moonball match that lasted 4-5 hours. I still get flashbacks to that day. 😅

I regularly play a moonballer and absolutely destroy him every time, I play extremely aggressive so he just gives me time

Moonballer’s second shot was very short and sat up. If you stay back, moonballer has you on his terms. Instead, gotta learn how to move in and take it at its peak as a flat shot (or hit a drop shot) before then moving in to close with netplay on the next shot or two

When I was young and new as competitor, Moonballer really destroyed me. 😥😭

Mental strength is huge part of tennis, especially at such a young age.
