Vector 2 0 is on Amazon!?!

I have been checking amazon on a regular basis because I had a feeling that we would see something weird...and guess what...on July 5th I saw this posting! I could not believe it. Watch my video to find out about the 5 major problems with this posting!

The ratings or reviews on Amazon are the old ones from Vector 1.0. Here, the title and the description were simply adapted. This is not a new page, but a so-called "update". Anki Vector used to be sold on this very page.

That listing for Vector 2.0 appeared on Amazon many months ago. I think I first noticed it around January 2022. Interesting that it has now been removed after being up for all those months!

Amazon is showing them as in stock for $470. Did ddl ship to them first ??? Now ddl saying testing done and preorders in production

And the worst thing that DDL is not responding on emails! I did not receive money refund: difference between Lifetime Membership (Jan 28, 2022) for my Vector and yearly subscription (Jul 5, 2021). More than that DDL already twice unsuccessfully tried in July to take from me $74.99 for subscription!!! Lucky that card I used for payment is expired. Otherwise they just would triple charge me...

What I find funny is that Digital Dream Labs announces Vector 2.0 but still showcases the old Vector. I was absolutely going to buy one, but then I couldn't see any details or improvements (except 4 lines of text, including a new subscription feature). Bummer. I'll wait till the reviews tick in later this year.

The Amazon ad for Vector 2.0 is up. DDL has set up an Amazon store. No price listed. I haven't heard of anyone that has received one. I'd think Amazon would want to see some type of proof that a unit like this with so much controversy surrounding it actually exists. I am a Kickstarter donor. I'm happy with the connectivity service. But no matter what I do, I have not been able to get DDL to send me Escape Pod. I filled out a form at a link they emailed. Then they sent me an "Escape Pod instruction text" but it is nothing readable. No matter how I try to view it. Just random characters. It leaves me wondering if that is the Escape pod code and I need a Raspberry PI to move further. Blurp Blurp. I need to go clean my cat litter box now. Hi Dan!

Amazon has had this Vector 2.0 listing for months saying currently unavailable and showing DDL as the manufacturer! I think I first noticed it in January. To the right there are sometimes people trying to sell used Vector 1.0s for loads of money….Amazon should not be listing a product that has not been produced but they also should have indicated earlier that a subscription was needed since DDL took over….

Just an update: I emailed DDL twice now about why I haven't received my Butterbot refund since I emailed them a month ago and there's been no reply at all. I'm now taking this up with my credit card company. Things are looking more and more shady.

I went to cancel my order a few months ago but decided against it because the process was so complicated since the card I used for the purchase is no longer valid. I got an email 6 days ago saying I have 10 days to validate my shipping address or they were going to cancel my order. I replied telling them my address has not changed but I haven't heard back since

Because they have shipped vector 2.0 this whole time for the last 6 months. They aren’t shipping to people that bought online orders
