Kudos to the employees for sticking up for themselves. Long hours, no bonuses, and a boss who clearly is crass and doesn't care for their well-being isn't ideal. They'll find jobs at other tech companies, bigger question is will Elon find people to replace them?

On the first day of class, my old psychology professor gave a speech to us about how his class would be the most difficult and that we'd have to put in a lot of work. He said we should drop the class if we didn't think we could handle it. One guy got up and walked out. The professor made sure he was the only person and peeked into the hall to ensure he was gone. Then the professor popped his head back in and said, "Just kidding!" 😂

Good for Elon! If these employees aren't up for the task at hand, they can leave and go somewhere else. And Elon will replace them. Sometimes work sucks and it's hard. That's why it's called "work". It's fascinating that some people feel Elon is out of line by saying he is going to ensure hard work for the company he now owns.

What kind of hard work? If he's thinking like 10-12 hours shift, 6 days a week kind of hardcore, then I would think most would quit. He might get some people at Tesla to be that committed, thinking that what they are doing is revolutionizing humanity, but Twitter is just a social media platform.

It should be an easy decision for anyone with in demand skills. Working your ass off for long hours with no bonuses in the deal just because your boss loaded down the company with so much debt it may go under seems like a stupid thing to do. It's not the worker's fault that Elon made a bad business decision.
