When Musk brought the sink to Twitter HQ, he really meant to sink Twitter

Pushed an employee? There's nothing unique about that. He's a narcissist bully.

Elon is going downhill quickly. I'm an experienced software engineer and I would take the severance pay in a heart beat; Twitter is unlikely to survive this. He clearly doesn't understand that most people need balance in their lives and working overtime, the way he expects it, simply isn't sustainable. In fact, it's going to be detrimental to the quality and quantity of work they do. I'm betting this story will be a business case in course literature after he sells the Twitter brand for pennies on the dollar.

Any employee with marketable skills will tell Elon to get stuffed. History says that people who work hard for Elon don't make money, only Elon makes money.

Elon has a financial responsibility to turn Twitter into an economially viable company that's not weighed down by fraud and waste.

On one hand you're begging people to come back, stay, put in extra hours and on the other hand you're giving them the middle finger and telling them to get out. I can't imagine living with this man.

Staying in this swamp is a black spot on the CV of every software engineer who is worth h(is|er) salt ... so he will be left with the mediocre folks who are afraid of not getting a new job. It's already happening in his robotics department.
And no - he's not working 24/7

Where did Elon say 80 hour work weeks?

Are the people that are resigning the same ones who've kept Twitter stagnant for a decade?

ALL Employees should not to sign anything at 5:00PM-EST - see what Musk(Rat) decides to do then.

It's also a test for the remaining employees - how united are they, as a team, to standup for one another.

We'll soon see.

Of course he might pull a Trump and use the 44 bil as a tax write off and then start another similar platform.

I don’t understand why Elon doesn’t have a well oiled staff together to carry out his requests so as not to make it so personal about terminations.
