It's amazing how the strings are perfectly centered over the polepieces...As a professional guitar maker I have worked on thousands of strats in my career and strings aren't always centered like that even on expensive ones...
That really shows how artisanal strats were in the early years...

OMG adjust the saddle screw!!! It's crazy sticking up!!!! Just cut my self on a 55 Stratocaster with the same issue... Low E saddle first hex screw..
