20 years of films. People who've been following these guys for 20 years of film know just how important this moment is. Tobey saving goblin is just so genius

I still can’t believe that William Dafoe actually did all his own stunts He’s literally in his 60’s he manages put up one hell of a fight against Tom Holland who in his 20’s at the time.

Everyone talks about how Andrew saving MJ is his personal redemption moment without also bringing up how Tobey kinda has one himself here. He did say he spent a long time thinking about how he could have saved Norman.

Toby's look into Tom's eyes says it all. A truly powerful moment, with no words said.

“She was there because of you
I may have struck the blow, but you
You were the one that killed her”
Goblin always hitting those lines man
He was baiting Peter to do it

0:20"Ata boy!" That delivery from Dafoe was stellar. Goblin was so delighted because Peter had embraced his killer instinct like he wanted. He didn't care if he lost the fight or not because he thought he had already won.

Green Goblin leaving his farewell laughter before Peter gave him the serum leaves me with a "You may have won this time, but I'll be back Spider-Man.." impression. Willem Dafoe killed it!

Seeing Peter like this was really an eye opener of how strong he truly is. Such an amazing fight scene and so emotional

Never thought I'd see MCU Peter this enraged. He's usually pretty dorky, funny and even a little bit adorable in his younger years. This truly showed how far a kind soul can go when pushed enough. 😥

I like how in this rematch, Peter’s actually being more defensive by dodging his attacks and only starts swinging wildly after he’s got him incapacitated. Really shows how he’s not just a scientific genius but a strategic one too.

God...that look. That stare from Tobey's Spidey as he stops Tom's Spidey from killing Norman...that just gives me chills. Such a good scene.

I love how Andrew didn't try to stop Tom. He's still got that anger about his goblin killing gwen

Can we take a moment to talk about Toms acting here? The despair, the anger, the sadness, the hunger to destroy the person who killed his only family. You can just see it all in his face.

Tom Holland’s acting was amazing, you can really see how much pain and rage Peter has

The way the punches echo out on the shield like they do show us just how much Spider-Man holds back when he fights. His full strength is absolutely brutal, he could’ve caved Norman’s head in with a single punch. That was a REALLY nice touch.

The vibration from that punch into the shield. Jesus Christ. It honestly has me wondering how strong Peter is

I’ve never seen such a drastic change in a character done the right way. When we see this Spider-Man’s start he’s young. Whimsical and pure. After being found an recruited by Tony Stark is what would start this’s Spider-Man’s journey. At his very end after the traumatic loses of Tony and Aunt May, he’s not holding back his punches. He’s completely laying into Norman, it’s only thanks to the Goblin serum he’s able to withstand those punches. Spider-Man is scary when he’s not holding back. Full of rage and bloodshed as we see here.

Just imagine how screwed Team Cap was if this version of Peter was the one fighting in the Airport

That look Toby gave when he stopped him. There was so much there! The sadness, firm yet gentle determination, the way he has that look as if he’s searching for peters rational side to come. An overall understanding all exchanged in a look. I love all the spider mans equally!

One thing that makes Tom's Peter darker than the other two is that his version has legit rage issues when pushed to the edge and becomes extremely violent when he snaps, and wasn't thinking twice when attempting to kill Norman. Andrew might've been through rough times by not holding his punches anymore, but he never tried to kill anyone, intentionally. If none of the other Peters were there, or if nobody stopped him, things could've looked really horrific for Norman than what happened in 2002.
