I'm going on my third year of Keto but this was the best refresher I've seen in a long time!! Thanks Steve!!

I definitely learned to pay close attention to serving size the hard way. It's shameful how they manipulate the numbers to make a product appear keto or low carb by using totally unrealistic serving sizes. I also hate that they can hide a multitude of bad ingredients for Keto under the umbrella of "natural flavors." I wish they were required to factually disclose all ingredients.

Huge LOL on the BBQ rub...serving size 1/4 tsp!! Again, so appreciate what you do Steve!

Thank you so much for the refresher, since I was off the wagon with a vengeance, and now I'm back.

Great video, this kind of info is always helpful.
My one "Keto" shopping suggestion? Randomly re-check items you buy regularly.
Sometimes they change formulas! Suddenly your once perfectly Keto item has less than stellar ingredients added. You might have to reconsider your stance on it.

Thanks Steve. I hate how they lure us in with "keto" or "beef jerky" until you look at the ingredients. Glad to see that the two I use (granola and Archer beef sticks) also pass your test. I put so many items back on the shelf.

Truth! It’s easy to make the mistake of not really reading the label at the store…..then finding out you wasted money on something you would never eat! Lesson learned! Thank you Steve!😮😊

As the PSA said many years ago..."read the label, set a better table". I am not big into math, I just try to stay clean about 90 percent of the time and keep my sweet consumption down. Like you, I rarely count carbs anymore as I know my body well enough to determine my limits. Good info Steve.

Great refresher, I also like how you went one by one with things to look for. Definitely going to make reading labels easier from now on. I really hate our labels it's so annoying how they are able to round down.

Great video. I can't tell you how many things I have just put down after reading the labels. Some things just aren't worth the amount of carbs vs. the serving size.

This is a good review - I hope there is a part 2 that talks about some more of those ingredients we see on labels that we need to know what they are and why they might be questionable.

I definitely consider serving size and wish they listed a standard weight along side. 100 gm would be useful IF you know how to convert into ounces...without a calculator.

I've been keto almost five years and do the same kind of label reading you do, Steve. Tonight at Kroger I picked up and put back 5 packages of snacky stuff because I couldn't find anything I would eat. I decided to go with the microwaveable pork rinds. Not perfect, but far better than the other JUNK. Good video with good info for all of us...thanks!

My husband and I decided to attempt Keto again in this new year. When you started to review the Keto granola I held my breath because I had JUST bought at bag at Rite Aid and it was $9! Thankfully, you approved the product! This video was filled with great information so I hope you continue to do this format, it was very helpful!

I've been doing keto since june 2018 and I don't count net or total carbs either but I find that its so much easier and better not to eat processed "keto" foods.
