Finally something from Ubisoft worthy enough to get hyped. Hope they don't screw this up.

But still it's just a "hope" after all.

Ubisoft already had a fantastic pvp shooter once - Ghost Recon Online (later renamed to Ghost Recon Phantoms, and then cancelled after few great years of succes). XDefiant shows some ideas from that game, and that's good. Will need another hundred or more hours to say if it's worth of playing or not. Thankfully it's nothing like stupid shooters for kids. Class/abilities system is great for making a team and cooperating together.

Played for the first 4 hours straight without any problem no lags, stutters or bugs. But, now my game freezes almost every single time. Over that, the matchmaking is taking forever. Is this something common or I'm the only one experiencing it?

I'm not sure if I need to adjust to the mechanics, be a smarter player or if I'm just rusty from having my hand held all those years by COD's SBMM. I've been having great games and pretty horrible ones. Some gunfights, I lose and I'm not sure why. Probably my lack of skills because I really hope it's not the game messing up.

However, the beauty of this one is it's not gonna lose it's player base to Modern XDefiant and XDefiant Ops next years and no SBMM means I'm really playing against ANYONE. If hit reg and desync is not at fault, I'm way happier getting beat up by better players than being manipulated by an algo babysitting me... just wish I could have a killcam to learn what they did to outdo me.

Looking forward to them making it better towards the next years. I could really welcome a Hardcore mode and a TDM mode (some players dont even touch the objective). And if they continue making it better, I'm way more willing in putting money in a free game than an 80$ CAD one.

This game just doesn't feel right to me. The TTK is kind of ridiculous, and it just feels clunky. Maybe I'm just too used to CoD.
