XDefiant is here... Kind of, not fully, as a little after this video goes up is when the Open beta officially kicks off, but the game is indeed here for some, if not all but only for a little bit of time so I'd imagine you want to do the best you can in that short window of time to play so today I wanted to share with you a handful of tips to help you improve your game in XDefiant. It's a sweaty one in a lot of cases, so how can you manage as best as possible? XDefiant is really really refreshing. Theres a charming game feel, its like Black Ops aesthetic w/ its own twitchy feel. Super getting used to the character/powers. Hope not just the devs but the people stick with it, could be a dangerous new FPS.

I'm really hoping they continue to grow and improve XDefiant because I'm done with all COD games for good.
Activision should have stuck to producing bad games and stayed out of politics.

I played a few hours today and I REALLY LIKE IT. Had several games where I dropped 30+ kills. Really like the M4. Only few problems is I on PS5 can't invite friends on PC. Servers kept going down and some bullets do literally no damage

NGL the game is pretty mid. It’s not bad by any means but definitely not a cod a killer, feels like an Indy game made by a handful of people. Maps are good, Gunplay is fine and hit detection felt good and customization. The practice area is dope. But overall mp gameplay just felt average overall, not bad but nothing to write home about.

Honestly don’t like this game. The movement and shooting don’t feel nearly as good as cod.

I played the game some last night, gave up when it kept freezing on a black screen between maps. It's got some good and bad but overall is decent. I'm not a fan of the factions and having to choose one of 6 chars who are mostly, but maybe that will change. Something about painted fingernails and fishnet gloves changing mags bothers the shit out of me as a former Army guy.

I would love a one life game mode like search and destroy or even something like control with 30 lives

Played for a bit, the two problems I see is the disbanding of lobbies and flinch is way too high. Other than that, its a ball, I had a good time and cannot wait till the regular season. If they did not disband lobbies the party up would fall to the way side.

As someone who has no nostalgia for 2007 - 2012 CoD, XDefiant has nothing unique about it. It doesn’t have killstreaks or perks like CoD, it doesn’t have Titans like Titanfall, it doesn’t have large maps and vehicle combat like Battlefield. It has nothing to call it’s own other than “Hey, remember when you were in middle school?”…
