Is there not a way to make the aiming like cod to where after you let go of l2 it stops aiming you don’t have to press it again

I have it preloaded and I changed my settings, but you can go to the practice range ? I tried to and I couldn’t move over and select it. I just want to know if I am tripping or not because I promise I tried. I’ll try again later.
