Don’t compare yourself to the next man, compare yourself to who you were yesterday.

In college back in 85’ I’ve always told my homies never be stagnant. Keep pushing forward and taking the next step in every facet of life. Now at 56 and about to retire in June, life about to turn up. In the meantime, I’ve been remarried for 5 yrs and have a 3yr old son. Became a professional photographer. Now it’s time for me to be home and show him the way to success, God is great and always give back.

A wise man once said "Health is wealth".

Master this first and then you'll have life vitality for all the above as a man!👌🏽😎

Damn I’m behind in so many of these. It’s only through the grace of The Most High that’s I’m not rock bottom. But now I can see where I need to Improve.

Definitely a jagged pill for me. I've reached retirement age and am still behind. I've managed to neglect my health and have lost one leg. My finances never improved and i failed to aquire a sustainable skill. Right now I'm pretty much just waiting for the clock to run out. Wish i would've had this list 40 yrs ago. Good talk.

At 47 years old I definitely feel like my life is empty. I'm at a job where I feel like I have no room for growth. Just working paycheck to paycheck only to pay my debts. I try to workout whether it's weight lifting, walking the trail which is my only daily motivation. I know and I'm trying to make better decisions with lifestyle choices as far as family issues, mental health, relationships with friends and dating females. It's a daily struggle but I'm not going to give up.

I was on track and doing all these things, after 25years of marriage, my wife was bored and “not happy “ and wanted a divorce;
I prided myself in always giving and supplying her with her wants. Where did it get me? I lost 1/2 of everything that I had achieved, just so she could walk away with cash & prizes. Not bitter, I just see women and relationships without rose-colored glasses.

The circle of friends that are around you, really defines who you are. Birds of the same feather flock together. That saying is so true. Thanks O.G. and salute 🙏🏾

Great video! I’m 72 years old and these are great suggestions… fortunately, I’m in a good place… single, never married, no kids, healthy, have a nice portfolio, friends, do four International trips a year.. have some regrets and disappoints but we all do…

Great topic. "Life's milestones" have been on my mind recently. I turned 40 last year and both of my parents have passed, and sometimes I find myself comparing where I am now to where they were at my age.

Great markers, but in this stress filled world we live in...do not allow this list or video add undue stress. Take one step at a time and enjoy the process of getting yourself where you want or need to be... Fact is, it's NEVER too late. Remember from a spiritual side, you can do anything and everything, believe in yourself no matter what. You're on your own journey...live a life of purpose and you'll be amazed with what this life gives you in return.

Peace and Blessings Family

This speaks to me.

Nothing seems to be working.

Got thrown out of jobs.

No friends, no wholesome relationship, messy habit, no income, no home, savings gone.

I pray for clarity and a sound mind as I navigate and moving to put all these behind me.

Regarding health, get a colonoscopy. I was due to have one a few years ago but was too busy at work to take time off. Then Covid hit delaying everything even more. Had pain recently & after an emergency colonoscopy, a mass was found. I’ve been on chemo infusions for a few months now. Get checked!!

*As a Man, set your own standards, move at your own pace, have a purpose, a plan and perseverance* because you wont get instant success.

*Never compare, always compete* your career is how you see yourself not others, if you stay true yourself the right things will come to you. *Ultimately, your overall health is your wealth mental, physical, spiritual, and self-care if you dont have that you have nothing* and cannot obtain the other things in this video.

One thing for sure is I got outta shape. In my early 20s I was shredded im now 31 with hip osteoarthritis from running and kickboxing but I know most of my hip issues is because I let myself go. Now I'm back on the grind and I'm feeling that same feeling of obsession again. Meal prepping and holding myself accountable for staying active in the best way I can with the pain and Physical therapy I will get that back and be better than ever

This is a great topic that deserves further exploration.

I tried starting my own business and had some success, but I made the mistake of trusting the wrong people resulting in financial loss. Now I am rebuilding. This often made me feel like I was falling behind, creating anxiety and depression.
After serious, self reflection, and looking within, I found the realization that it’s OK to make mistakes. Most importantly, men don’t fail they stop trying.
Keep fighting, believing in yourself and keep growing. Peace and blessings to all.

In my mid 30’s. Have a nice house, car, getting married in a few weeks. But I definitely know I’m behind. Already taken steps to improve everyday life. Getting closer to God, putting the weed down, and trying to quit porn. I have some regrets, but I’m trying my absolute hardest to make the 2nd half of my life exponentially better than the 1st half. Once you get a little bit older you start to realize you really don’t have as much time as you thought. Fun is over now it’s time to grind 💪🏽

Honestly, I didn't feel like I started really "living" life until around 40. That was after spending 20 years in the Air Force, wrenching on big jets. Retired from active duty 12 years ago, always been a late bloomer and just turned 50 this year. Feels like I'm just getting spun up for a few more rounds in the game and I have no major concerns, based on your criteria/list and some of my own criteria as well.
Starting a small tow truck business later this year.

Man I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this video. You spoke to everything I’ve been thinking about for the past two months. Am I behind? Comparing myself to others and self growth and progression. Thank you for this encouragement and enlightenment and please keep this positive content going!!!

Man !!!! You need a network show. You touch on so many subjects important to men who don’t talk to other men! Health, money, education, travel, books, joining organizations, hobbies and contributing to your community! Thank you O.G.again! Salute😊❤❤❤
